Hello everyone! My name is Camila and I’m super excited to be the new voice of the K105 Station Blog.
I thought I would tell you a little bit about myself to break-the-ice and help us get more acquainted. I come from a BIG family of 7 girls. I live on a farm. I was home schooled for the majority of my schooling, so family is very very important to me. I love animals, crafts, and expressing myself. I love music and have played piano for over 10 years. I look forward to sharing more about myself and some awesome tips/ideas to stir-up your creativity!

My favorite summer memories from my childhood are the ones I’ve spent with my family. Because I have such a large family, we never really went on “Summer Vacation” or to amusement parks during the summer. Instead, We would stay at home and spend quality time together in a more affordable way. Whether it was using chalk to draw masterpieces on the sidewalk, sliding down a hill on our homemade slip-n-slide, or hosting an outdoor movie night with friends. We would always have a blast every time. I think it’s good for families to spend time getting to know each other better without the distraction of work, school, and everyday life.

Recently, I’ve been searching for some fun activities/crafts to do before the summer is over. I’ve been looking all over Pinterest and other websites.. and I’d say I have found some pretty great suggestions. So I thought it would share with you a few of the awesome ideas I found!
