10-Minute DIY Milk and Honey Soap:
This easy DIY Milk and Honey soap can be made in just 10 minutes, and it boasts lots of great skin benefits from the goat’s milk and honey!
Supplies Needed:
- Goat’s Milk Soap Base
- Silicone Honeycomb Mold
- Organic Raw Honey
- 4-Cup Pyrex Glass Measuring Cup (or similar)
- Yellow & Red Soap Colorant (optional)
Directions:
Use about 1 lb (or half of the block) of soap base at a time which makes nine of these honeycomb soaps or four large 4-ounce soaps. The block of goat’s milk soap base is soft, and it cuts easily with a kitchen knife. Slice the soap base into cubes, place them inside a 4-cup Pyrex measuring cup, and melt in the microwave. Melt in 20-30 second increments, stirring well after each microwave session, to ensure that the soap is completely melted. For 1 lb of soap, microwave for 30 seconds, stir, microwave for another 30 seconds, stir again, and microwave a final time for 20 seconds.
When the soap is completely melted, stir in 3 tablespoons of honey and a few drops of yellow soap colorant. Also add one drop of red colorant to give soap a more golden hue. Pour the melted soap into the honeycomb mold, and allow to sit undisturbed until cool. The cooling process can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on temperature and humidity levels.
When the soap is cool and firm, carefully remove them from the silicone mold.
These DIY milk & honey soaps make a fantastic homemade gift!

- 4 (4 ounce) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, pounded to 1/2-inch thickness
- 1/2 cup salt
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 8 slices crustless bread, torn into large pieces
- 1/4 cup dried parsley
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 cup olive oil, divided
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 200 degrees F (95 degrees C). Place a large oven-proof plate on the bottom rack.
- Dissolve salt and sugar in water in a 1-quart casserole dish. Place chicken in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Pat chicken dry and place on a paper towel-lined baking sheet. Let air-dry for 10 minutes.
- Place bread in a blender or food processor; blend until crumbly, about 30 seconds. Mix bread crumbs with parsley in a shallow dish.
- Place flour in a shallow dish.
- Beat eggs with 1 tablespoon olive oil in a separate shallow dish.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper. Dredge each cutlet in the flour, shaking off any excess; dip in the egg mixture and coat evenly in bread crumbs.
- Heat the remaining oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add 2 cutlets; cook until golden brown on the outside, no longer pink in the center, and juices run clear, 2 to 3 minutes per side. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C). Remove warmed plate from the oven; placed cooked cutlets on the plate. Repeat with the remaining chicken.
