Grayson County HS teacher accepted into WKU Doctoral Program

Grayson County High School English teacher Gail McCrady has been accepted into the WKU Doctoral Program in Post-Secondary Educational Leadership, which provides a doctorate Ed.D in education.

McCrady, of Caneyville, has taught for 34 years at WKU, ECTC, Meade County KCTCS, SKY KCTCS, and North Hardin High School. At GCHS, McCrady teaches dual credit classes in English 101, 102 and Speech Communication.

Her special areas of research emphasis include Benoit Image Repair Theory, Qualitative and Quantitative Research, Crisis Management Plans, and Crisis Response Theories. She is in her third unit of classes. McCrady’s dissertation emphasis will focus on ACT success with Response to Intervention (RTI).
