Ballot positions for nonpartisan races in Grayson County’s General Election have been determined.
At the ballot position drawing, held at the Grayson County Clerk’s Office, only nonpartisan candidates drew for ballot positions. Clerk Sherry Weedman said pursuant to Kentucky Revised Statute, GOP candidates will appear first on the partisan race ballots, followed by Democrats and then Independents (the order in which partisan race candidates appear is determined by Kentucky’s voting in the last presidential election, where the Republican candidate outpolled the Democrat’s entry).

Falls of Rough local option:
The ballot for voters in the Falls of Rough precinct will be asked the following questions regarding the possible sale of alcoholic beverages:
- Are you in favor of the sale of alcoholic beverages by the drink at a golf course or courses?
- Are you in favor of the sale of alcoholic beverages by the drink at a small farm winery or wineries?
- Are you in favor of the sale of alcoholic beverages by the drink at qualified historic sites?
- Are you in favor of the sale of alcoholic beverages by the drink at restaurants and dining facilities with a seating capacity of at least 50 people and derives at least 70 percent of their gross receipts from food sales, if the alcoholic beverage is purchased in conjunction with a meal?
- Are you in favor of the sale of alcoholic beverages by the drink at restaurants and dining facilities with a seating capacity of at least 100 people and derives at least 70 percent of their gross receipts from food sales, if the alcoholic beverage is purchased in conjunction with a meal?
