The Beaver Dam man arrested in June on over 700 counts of rape, sexual abuse and sodomy has been indicted by the Grayson County Grand Jury on an additional 60 counts of incest and rape.

William C. Lindsey, 63, was indicted by the grand jury for allegedly raping his biological daughter dozens of times between 1989 and 1996. She was between the ages of nine-years-old and 16-years-old during the commission of the crimes, according to the indictments.

Ohio County authorities said at the time of Lindsey’s June arrest that there were two juvenile victims, with one victim related to Lindsey.

In July, the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office said detectives received information that Lindsey wrote one of his victims a letter after he was arrested. Detectives obtained the letter and determined that “Lindsey was attempting to intimidate the victim in the legal process, and also threatened physical harm on another,” according to police. He was charged with intimidating a participant in the legal process, harassing communications and terroristic threatening.

In Ohio County, Lindsey has been charged with 101 counts of first-degree rape (domestic violence), 100 counts of second-degree rape, 200 counts of first-degree sexual abuse (victim under the age of 12), 200 counts of first-degree sodomy (victim under the age of 12), 100 counts of first-degree sodomy, two counts of incest (victim under the age of 12), and second-degree sexual abuse.

He remains lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center on a $100,000 cash bond.
