Betty Ann Hayes, age 57, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Tuesday, (August 21, 2018) at her home.
She was born on May 21, 1961 in Ohio County, KY, the daughter of the late Cicero and Margaret Woodcock Hayes.
She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved her cats and enjoyed spending time around children and with her family.
She is survived by her son, Matt Hayes of Leitchfield, her “adopted” children Delanee and Michael Dennis, both of Leitchfield; two grandchildren, Layna Haycraft and Aiden Hayes, both of Caneyville, KY; two brothers, Bobby Hayes of Shrewsbury, KY and Raymond Hayes of Leitchfield, KY; and her caregiver and special friend, Samantha McStoots of Leitchfield, KY. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Hayes; a sister, Mary Rhodes; and a niece, Jennifer Oldham.
Cremation was chosen.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Dermitt Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
