Pfizer is recalling 28,000 bottles of its bubble gum flavored Children’s Advil Suspension because of a labeling mistake. The medicine is used to treat fever, aches and pains.

The dosage cup is marked in teaspoons, but the label on the bottle is marked in milliliters, which could lead to adults giving children too much of the medicine (a teaspoon is approximately five milliliters).

Pfizer said one lot of the 4-ounce bottles of the medicine were distributed nationwide in May and June of this year; they have a November 2020 expiration date, and marked code R51129 with a 3-0573-0207-30-0 UPC number.
