The man shot during a home invasion in Elizabethtown has been charged by police.
Police said 30-year-old Christopher I. Little, of Boston (in Nelson County), has been released from University of Louisville Hospital and charged with two counts of burglary after he broke into a home on Hall Road just before noon on Friday. The elderly homeowner shot Little in the head with a shotgun.
Little is a suspect in several other break-ins in the Hardin County area, according to police. He was lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center.
