A Hardin County couple was found dead inside their residence in Radcliff Tuesday night.

The Radcliff Police Department responded to a home in the 700 block of Magnolia Drive at approximately 5:30 Tuesday after an employer asked police to conduct a welfare check on one of the residents. Upon arriving, police found 44-year-old Curtis Head and his wife, 50-year-old Sherry Head, deceased.

Radcliff Police Chief Jeff Cross said the couple was found on their living room floor, each dead from a gunshot wound.

After completion of autopsies on Wednesday, police said the cause of death was likely a murder-suicide, and that the couple had been dead for a couple of days.

The investigation into the deaths continue.
