Kentucky State Police is investigating after a fire killed a 24-year-old woman, her 10-month-old son and a 12-year-old girl.
The deadly fire occurred Saturday morning at approximately 5:45 in Boyle County. The bodies of the three victims were discovered by firefighters after the blaze was extinguished, according to police.
The initial investigation indicates that 24-year-old Haley Stratton, her 10-month old son, and Stratton’s 12-year-old sister, all of Parksville, were found deceased in the upstairs of the residence.
Authorities said the fire started inside an attached garage before spreading to the residence. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
