Kentucky State Police arrested a former McCracken County Property Value Administrator on Tuesday after a grand jury returned an eight-count indictment.

State police began its investigation into Nancy Bock in the spring after a complaint was received about misuse of official funds at the PVA’s office.

Detectives determined during the investigation that Bock pilfered more than $6,000 by forging travel vouchers and unauthorized credit card transactions over a five-year period.

The McCracken County Grand Jury indicted Bock on seven counts of forgery and one count of theft/unlawful banking (over $500). The indictment was returned on Friday.

Bock, who resigned last week, turned herself into authorities Monday morning and was booked into the McCracken County Detention Center. She’s currently free on a $5,000 bond.
