The Warren County Grand Jury has indicted former WKU and Bowling Green High School football star Nacarius Fant on multiple cocaine trafficking charges.

Fant was arrested in August following a six-week investigation, where the Bowling Green-Warren County Drug Task Force executed four drug purchases from Fant, according to WBKO.com. When he was arrested, Fant was in possession of a small amount of cocaine and $502 in cash.

He was indicted on four counts of trafficking in a controlled substance (cocaine, over four grams).

The 23-year-old Fant, who was Kentucky’s Mr. Football in 2013, played four seasons for WKU and was an all-conference selection as a punt returner in 2016, his junior season, and the team’s leading receiver his senior year.

At Bowling Green HS, Fant was a three-time Class 5A state champion.
