3 suspects arrested on 20 counts of rape, human trafficking of victim under the age of 18

Following an investigation led by Kentucky State Police, the Green County Grand Jury recently returned indictments on three Greensburg residents for human trafficking and rape, with the victim under the age of 18.

Police arrested 41-year-old Jonathan Riggs, 40-year-old Laura Underwood, and 52-year-old Jacky Underwood on Saturday. All three suspects were charged with 20 counts of rape and human trafficking, unlawful transaction with a minor (controlled substance, victim under 18) and intimidating a witness in the legal process. Riggs was additionally charged with being a persistent felony offender.

All three suspects were lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center. Riggs is being held on a $175,000 bond, while both Jacky and Laura Underwood are being detained on $150,000 bonds.
