Scottie LeRond Oller, age 78, of Leitchfield, KY peacefully went to sleep at Jewish Hospital on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on August 18, 1940 in Leitchfield, son of J. B. and Sarah Lorene (Gannaway) Oller. He was retired from Magna Division of Vermont America, member of Little Clifty Baptist Church and attended Leitchfield First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.B. and Lorene Oller, father and mother-inlaw, Emmett and Mabel Wilson, 1 brother-in-law, Charles Wilson and 1 nephew, Kevin Wilson.
Scottie LeRond is survived by his wife and best friend, Shirley (Wilson) Oller, his children Keith Oller and Todd and Lisa Oller. They were the joy of his life.
Other survivors include, 1 sister, Phyllis Powell, 2 brothers-in-law Jimmy Wilson (Jean), and Bob Wilson, 4 sisters-in-law, Kay Wilson, Carolyn Dennis (Ed), Sandra Weiss (Emil) and Blanche Madsen (Lee).
Also surviving are 16 Nieces and Nephews, 32 great-Nieces and Nephews, who lovingly called him “Uncle Homer” and 10 great-great Nieces and Nephews, all of whom he dearly loved.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 19th from 2-8 PM and Saturday, October 20th after 9:00 AM until time of service at Watkins-Oller Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 20th beginning at 1pm at Watkins-Oller Funeral Home with Bro. Murl “Butch” Ford officiating, burial to follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
