Teen charged with shooting, robbing man in Owensboro

An 18-year-old man has been arrested after shooting a man during a robbery in Owensboro.

On Monday night, Owensboro police responded to 300 East Parrish Avenue on the report of a shooting. Upon arriving, authorities found that the victim had been shot in the 400 block of Center Street and driven himself to the East Parrish Avenue location.

After an investigation, police arrested Julius T. Greer, of Owensboro, and charged him with first-degree assault, first-degree robbery and unlawful transaction with a minor. He’s being held in the Daviess County Detention Center on two bonds totaling $150,000.

Police have not released the condition of the victim.
