6 suspects arrested after police raid home on Mill Street in Leitchfield; meth, prescription drugs seized

Six people have been arrested after local law enforcement executed a search warrant at a Mill Street residence on Wednesday night.

At approximately 9:15, the Leitchfield Police Department, Grayson County Sheriff’s Office and Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force converged on the home at the intersection of Mill and Hardin Streets. During a search of the residence, police found methamphetamine, over 20 prescription medications which did not belong to anyone who resides at the home, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, according to authorities.

All six suspects were charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said additional charges will be filed.

Those arrested were 35-year-old Farris W. Collins, 18-year-old Mariana H. Collado, 42-year-old Teresa A. Thompson (aka Teresa Collard), 39-year-old Jeffery Price, 31-year-old Joseph D. VanMeter (this is his second arrest for possession of meth), and 24-year-old Eric D. Horn.

All six suspects are lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center. The investigation into this case continues.
