A Cave City man has been arrested after the armed robbery of the Dollar General Store on West Main Street, in Glasgow.
Friday afternoon at 4:30, 51-year-old Keith Byrd entered the store and brandished a firearm. According to the Barren County Sheriff’s Office, he demanded money from the clerk and left the store on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.
Byrd was arrested only hours later and charged with first-degree robbery and first-degree wanton endangerment.
He’s being held in the Barren County Jail on a $25,000 cash bond.
