A Rineyville teenager has been killed after a truck lost a wheel and struck her vehicle as she drove on I-65.
Olivia Kustes, 18, was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident occurred Wednesday afternoon near Clarksville, Indiana, just across the river from Louisville, according to media reports. Police said a wheel came off a southbound truck, being driven by 51-year-old Peter Gaetano, of Covert, Michigan, crossed over the median and struck Kustes’ vehicle as she drove northbound.
Indiana State Police is investigating the accident.
