The Leitchfield Police Department says the missing 14-year-old girl has been located and is safe.
LPD was notified late Saturday evening that Shauntay Sandlin, of Hartford, had gone missing and was last seen at a business on South English Street, in Leitchfield. Leitchfield officers saturated the South English Street area searching for the missing juvenile.
It was apparent from scanner traffic that officers narrowly missed locating Sandlin on multiple occasions at a couple of different locations until she was found Sunday afternoon.
