Glasgow police are searching for an armed robbery suspect.
Monday morning at approximately 4:00, the Glasgow Police Department responded to an armed robbery in progress at the Circle K convenience store on Columbia Avenue.
Upon arriving at the scene, police learned that a black male, standing approximately 5-foot-6, with a thin build and dread locks, entered the store and demanded money while brandishing a handgun, according to authorities. Police said the suspect exited the store with an undetermined amount of cash and multiple packs of cigarettes.
The suspect was wearing a North Face jacket, black mask, gloves, and jeans.
The clerk was not harmed.
