On Thursday night, the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested two Owensboro men and charged them with over 40 child pornography related crimes.
The arrests of 31-year-old Alan Simpson-Fulkerson and 24-year-old Joshua Simpson were made after Kentucky State Police discovered the men sharing child sexual exploitation material online. The two men are accused of possessing, distributing and promoting matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.
Joshua Simpson was charged with three counts of distribution of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor, 20 counts of possession of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor and three counts of promoting a minor under the age of 16 in a sexual performance.
Alan Simpson was charged with 20 counts of possession of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor.
The suspects were lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center where Joshua Simpson is being held on a $150,000 cash bond. Alan Simpson is no longer listed as an inmate at the facility.
