Elizabethtown man admits to stabbing, victim found walking along WK Parkway

An Elizabethtown man has been arrested after a stabbing.

Upon arriving at the scene of the stabbing on Woodale Avenue at around midnight Saturday, 58-year-old George Walls told the Elizabethtown Police Department that he stabbed a man, and directed authorities to a bloody knife on a coffee table, according to the News-Enterprise. Additionally, while searching Walls’ residence, police located methamphetamine.

Authorities later found the unidentified victim walking along the Western Kentucky Parkway, near mile marker 136, not far from the scene of the assault. He had a stab wound to his abdomen. He was transported to a hospital. His current condition is not known.

Walls was arrested and charged with first-degree assault and possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center on a $10,000 cash bond.
