A massive fire has damaged parts of a popular marina on Lake Cumberland.
The fire at the Conley Bottom Resort dock, located in Wayne County, was first reported Monday morning at approximately 2:00. It appears the fire has destroyed the main dock and Lighthouse Café. A houseboat was also damaged, according to media reports.
Multiple fire departments worked well past 5:00 Monday morning bringing the fire under control. There have been no injuries reported at this time.
No rental boats were damaged, and the marina will be open for the Memorial Day weekend, lake officials said.
It’s unclear how the blaze began.
