Authorities in Pulaski County are investigating a shooting in the Bronston community.
On Monday afternoon, the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the scene of the shooting at 418 Bonnie Blue Lane, a residential area just west of General Burnside State Park. After conducting an investigation, police found that two roommates began arguing when one of the roommates pulled a gun and shot the other, according to media outlets.
The victim, 30-year-old Jonathan Watson, was airlifted to University of Kentucky Medical Center. The victim’s condition is currently unknown.
The suspect, Gregory Coots, 24, was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center where he’s been charged with first-degree assault.
