An Elizabethtown man has been charged with multiple child porn counts after police located sexually explicit images of young girls on his cellphone.
Mark L. Bertrand, 24, was arrested Monday afternoon by Elizabethtown police. The News-Enterprise reports that Bertrand admitted to searching for and downloading photos of young girls “fully or partially nude engaged in a sexual act.”
He was charged with three counts of possessing or viewing matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, a class D felony.
The investigation was instigated after a community agency alerted authorities.
