The four Elizabethtown men accused of killing a Vine Grove man during a drug deal heist have been indicted for complicity to commit first-degree murder and will face the death penalty if convicted.

Hardin County Commonwealth Attorney Shane Young said he will file aggravators against Tyler Lawrence, 20, Donyale Jones, 27, Temorris Davis Jr., 21, and Elijah Barnett, 22, according to the News Enterprise. The four men are accused of killing and robbing 25-year-old Lashard Harrison on May 22 in the parking lot of a Radcliff apartment complex at 1508 Pin Oak Court.

The four suspects admitted to police to luring Harrison to a meeting in Radcliff with the intention of robbing him. After the money for pills exchange, Jones and Barnett shot Harrison multiple times and then robbed him. Lawrence also shot at Harrison.

The murder charge is death penalty eligible because of the robbery, which is considered an aggravating factor.

Lawrence also was indicted for tampering with physical evidence and Barnett was indicted on two counts of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and being a persistent felony offender.w

The suspects are lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center on $1 million bonds.ot
