Three suspects have been arrested after local law enforcement executed a search warrant at Lowe’s Mobile Home Park.

Police said an ongoing investigation by the Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force, Leitchfield Police Department and Grayson County Sheriff’s Office into drug activity at Lowe’s, in the 100 block of Salt River Road, resulted in authorities executing a search warrant late Sunday night.

During a search of the residence, authorities located methamphetamine, syringes and other drug paraphernalia, according to authorities.

Police arrested 53-year-old Louis Coogle and 35-year-old Bobby Hale, both of Leitchfield, and 55-year-old Rondal Baker, of Elizabethtown.

Coogle and Baker were each charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Hale was initially charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. While being processed into the Grayson County Detention Center, the facility’s new full-view, dual-body scanner detected a bag of suspected methamphetamine and a pipe on Hale’s person, resulting in her being additionally charged with promoting contraband.

This marks the third contraband has been detected on an inmate since the installation of the body scanner, less than two months ago.

All three suspects were lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.
