30-year-old woman identified as victim of fatal house fire in LaRue Co.

The identity of a woman whose body was found after a house fire in LaRue County has been confirmed.

The State Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as 30-year-old Chasidy Wolford, of Buffalo, according to the News-Enterprise. She died in the house fire on the afternoon of June 12 on Otter Creek Road. No information has been released about the origin of the blaze or the cause of Wolford’s death.

The Central Hardin High School graduate was a married mother of four children and a stepson.

The case remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police.
