A former Fellowship of Christian Athletes leader and mentor and character coach for the Danville High School football team has been sentenced to 15 years in prison on child porn charges.

Bobby T. Cassady, 32, of Georgetown, pled guilty on Monday in federal court to inducing a minor to produce sexually explicit images in 2015, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of Kentucky. After serving at least 85 percent of his prison sentence, Cassady will be placed on supervised release for the remainder of his life. He was also ordered to pay $15,000 in restitution and a “mandatory special assessment” of $5,100.

In pleading guilty, Cassady admitted to posing as a young woman and requesting juvenile males send him sexually explicit photographs and videos. While pretending to be a young woman, Cassady told a juvenile male that he would be hurt if he didn’t send more videos, according to officials.

Authorities said a forensic examination of Cassady’s electronics by authorities showed nearly 100 image files that “met the federal definition” of child pornography.

He is slated to turn himself into federal authorities on July 31.
