Louisville police are investigating after a small child drowned at a home near Pleasure Ridge Park.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:30 Saturday night in the 7000 block of Cochise Court. Police said it appears the one-year-old child wandered from inside a home, which belongs to a relative of the child, and fell into the pool from a deck.
The child later died at Norton Children’s Hospital.
