Rev. Denvard Ray Decker, age 82, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (August 19, 2019) at his residence.

He was born on July 25, 1937 in Grayson Co, KY, the son of the late Ernest and Geneva Logsdon Decker.

He was a retired farmer, who served the ministry for 23 years and attended the Blowtown House of Prayer.

He is survived by his wife Mary Embry Decker, five sons, Stephen (Mary Ann) of Oklahoma, Joey (Lorma), Michael (Wilda) and Jeff Decker (Tina) all of Leitchfield, and Terry Decker (Cindy) of Clarkson, KY; one daughter, Lorie Holderman (Danny) of Leitchfield, twelve grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren; three sisters, Irene Decker of Leitchfield, Beulah Decker of Louisville, KY, and Lorene King of Leitchfield, and one brother, Larry Decker of Leitchfield. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, (August 24, 2019) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Wayne Clemons will be officiating. Burial will be in the Bill Newton Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
