Kelly Joseph Carwile, age 47 of Calvert City, KY passed away Sunday, September 1, 2019 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.
He was born March 27, 1972, son of Arthur and Judy (Higdon) Carwile.
Kelly earned a Master’s Degree and followed his dream of becoming a Basketball Coach. He began his head coaching career in 1998 in Webster County. He was head coach at Grayson County from 2014 to 2017 winning district titles in 2015 and 2016. He was hired as an assistant Coach and Teacher for the 2019-2020 season at Webster County Schools.
He is survived by his parents; Arthur and Judy Carwile, one uncle; James Higdon and two aunts; Brenda Wilson and Joyce Rayfert.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 4th from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Thursday from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Rogers-Oller Funeral in Clarkson.
A funeral service will be Thursday, September 5th beginning at 11:00 am at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Clarkson Cemetery.
