2 arrested on theft, drug charges at Moutardier Campground

Two Illinois residents have been arrested at Moutardier Campground.

Thursday morning at approximately 9:30, the Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the campground on the report of a suspicious vehicle, according to a report by WBKO.com.

Upon arriving at the scene, deputies discovered 39-year-old Anthony Littlejohn, of Matinsville, Illinois, and 19-year-old Destiny Budd, of Oblong, Illinois, in a stolen pickup pulling a camper. During a search of the camper, deputies located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Both were charged with receiving stolen property (over $10,000), possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), criminal possession of a forged instrument, obscuring the identity of a machine, giving officers a false name, theft of motor vehicle registration plate, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The suspects were lodged in the Hart County Jail.
