The body of a deceased male has been found in a wooded area near Radcliff.

The body was found late Thursday morning by a man preparing for bow hunting season. The Hardin County Coroner’s Office said the man had been dead for about nine days.

Radcliff Police Chief Jeff Cross said the body was found off Briargate Court, between Radcliff and Vine Grove, about 150 feet past a pump station, according to The News-Enterprise.

Officials expect positive ID to be made via dental records at the state Medical Examiner’s Office in Louisville.
