Hardin Co. man accused of having sex or sexual contact with young relative over 100 times

A Hardin County man has been jailed after being accused of having sexual relations with a young relative for over a year.

Sean C. Jurgens, 28, of Radcliff, was arrested after he had sexual relations with a relative younger than 12-years-old on multiple occasions between October 2017 and January of this year, according to a report by The News-Enterprise. The sexual acts occurred at least twice per week during the time-frame, as the victim was forced to participate in sexual intercourse and other sexual activity.

Jurgens allegedly admitted to his wife that he committed the offenses.

Jurgens was charged with incest (forcible compulsion/incapable of consent/ victim under 18), first-degree sodomy (incapable of consent/physically helpless victim), and first-degree sexual abuse (victim under the age of 12).

He’s being held in the Hardin County Detention Center on a $500,000 partially secured bond.
