Robert “Bob” Ketterer, age 89, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (October 10, 2019) at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY.
He was born on December 6, 1929 in Louisville, KY, the son of the late Charles F. and Alma Hauser Ketterer.
He was a production worker at GE for 36 years and a Korean War Veteran who enjoyed fishing, gardening and bird watching.
He is survived by his three sons, Ronald Ketterer (Janet), Richard Ketterer (Barbara), and Robert Ketterer (Lisa); two daughters, Pamela Chester (Dennis) and Patricia Freeland (Shane); 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a companion, Natalie Jones, and good friend Chester Childress.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Margaret “Peggy” Durham Ketterer, and one brother Carl Ketterer and one sister Mary McLear.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, (October 19, 2019) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. Saturday until time of services.
