Chester “Chet” Whobrey, 77, of Bee Spring passed away at 11:01 PM Friday Oct. 18, 2019 at his home.
The Edmonson County native was a retired heavy equipment operator for Russ Coal Co. He was a son of the late Noah Whobrey and Effie Lobb Whobrey. He was preceded in death by a brother, Lester Whobrey.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in Vincent Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-8 PM Monday and after 9:00 AM Tuesday.
Surviving are his wife, Sandy Oller Whobrey; four daughters, Daneila Cassidy (Sam) of Brownsville and Linda Selems, Christine Burden (Bobby) and Kimberly Reels (Kevin) all of Bowling Green; eight grandchildren, Jessica Turley (Wes), Crystal Wright (Robbie), Isaac Selems (Taylor), Sydney Selems, Haley McPeak (Adam), Robert Burden, Cody Pardue and Jordon Watt (Josh); and nine great grandchildren.
