Frank Marion Barton, Sr., age 73 of Leitchfield passed away Saturday, October 19, 2019 in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was born October 19, 1946 in Leitchfield, Kentucky, the son of Mary Lee Huff Barton and George Stanley Barton, Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Leigh Patterson Barton, children, Frank Barton, Jr. (Arleta), Corey Stevenson (Stephanie) and Kyle Barton, 3 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren, brother, George “Bucky” Barton, Jr. (Sandy) and sisters, Mildred Hudgins (Joe), Juanita Bradley (Bobby), Wanda Clark (Tommy) and Martha Wick.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and David Barton and a sister, Francis Barton.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 24, 2019 at the Watson and Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield with Bro. Harvey Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 and from 9:00 until time of service on Thursday.
