Gracie Gay Decker, age 92 of Leitchfield passed away Friday, November 8th 2019 at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center. She was born January 13th 1927 in Grayson County, the daughter of Thurman & Betty Cook Meredith.
She is survived by five daughters, Cosetta Gibson, Loretta Woodcock (Dennis), Rita Tomes (Junior), Mary Oma Decker, & Joyce Sue White (Charles), four sons, Sherman Decker (Carolyn), Everett Decker (Ina), & Randall Decker (Bonnie), thirty-two grandchildren, sixty-six great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren, and one brother, Herbert Meredith.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Decker, three sons, Troy, Roy, & Kenneth Decker, one daughter, Lorraine Smith, three sisters, Eula, Mary, & Fay Decker, and two brothers, Willard & Berthel Meredith.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 13th 2019 at the Anneta Baptist Church on Hwy 259 in Anneta. Burial will be in the Anneta Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 5:00 p.m., Monday, all day Tuesday, and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the church.
