An Ohio County woman has been arrested after police received a tip on drug activity.
On Thursday, Ohio County Sheriff Tracy Beatty said his office received information regarding the alleged possession and/or consumption of methamphetamine at a residence on Maple Leaf Drive, about 10 miles north of Hartford.
Deputies arrived at the residence at approximately 2:45 Thursday afternoon and made contact with 42-year-old Kristy Statts, of Utica. Beatty said that during a search of the home and Statts, deputies located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Statts was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center but is no longer listed as an inmate.
