Sherley Skaggs, age 93, of Radcliff, KY, passed away Thursday, (January 09, 2020) at Norton’s Hospital in Louisville.
He was born on July 15, 1926 in Millerstown, the son of the late Dan and Sudie Downs Skaggs.
He was a truck driver who enjoyed working on his trucks.
He is survived by his son, Patrick Skaggs of Fishers IN; One special niece, Sloan Young (Kent) of Leitchfield; several other nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Helen Horn Skaggs; three sisters, Eula Philips, Bulah Beller, and Retha Williams; and three brothers, Herman, Daniel ‘Bud”, and Huey Skaggs.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, (January 12th, 2020) at the Little Flock Cemetery in Millerstown. Bro. Joe Brooks will be officiating.
