A former Hardin County AAU girls basketball coach has been sentenced after being convicted of sodomizing one of his teenage players.

Corvell Conley, 43, of Radcliff, was found guilty of third-degree sodomy in November 2019. He was sentenced to four years in prison on Tuesday, reports The News-Enterprise. He must serve at least 20 percent of his sentence before he is eligible for parole.

Conley was originally arrested and charged with third-degree rape and third-degree sodomy in April 2018.

Police said the victim accused Conley of stopping at a location on South Wilson Road in Radcliff as he took the teen home from practice. He then had sex with the juvenile in the back seat of his vehicle. A nurse performed a sexual assault exam on the girl, with the nurse saying the victim’s injuries were consistent with her claims.
