Bonnie Blanton, age 78 of Bowling Green, passed away Monday, February 3rd 2020 at the Magnolia Village in Bowling Green. She was born June 10th 1941 in Louisville, KY, the daughter of Everett & Vadna Muffett Harrell. She was a retired school teacher for the Grayson County School System, a member of the Grayson County Retired Teachers Association, and a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She is survived be her two sons, David Ward & Kenneth Ward and two grandchildren.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Sam Ward & Les Blanton, one sister, Joyce Rice, and one brother, Herbert Harrell.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday (February 7th) at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Leitchfield Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday(Feb. 5th) , 1:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday (Feb 6th), with prayer services at 6:00 p.m. Thursday evening, and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Friday at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Home in Leitchfield.
