Mark Andrew Phelps, age 48, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (February 20, 2020) at Norton’s Hospital in Louisville.
He was born on February 9, 1972 in Louisville, KY, the son Marilyn Poole Phelps and the late Donald Phelps.
He was a welder who enjoyed cooking and watching football, particularly the Green Bay Packers and the UK Wildcats. He had been attending the WJCR House of Prayer.
He is survived by his daughter, Seminole Phelps of Leitchfield; his mother, Marilyn Phelps of Leitchfield; an aunt, Wanda Hanson of Louisville and an uncle, Larry Key (Theresa) also of Louisville.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Phelps; his wife Ginny Phelps; and a close cousin, Darrell Hanson.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, (February 25, 2020) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Munfordville Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
