Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center has imposed visitor restrictions in response to concerns about coronavirus (COVID-19). And after previously limiting visitation, both of Grayson County’s assisted living facilities have now further limited visitors.

In a statement on its Facebook page and website, Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center officials said:

Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) we are implementing visitor restrictions — Visitor restrictions include no visitors under the age of 16, only immediate family members may visit patients, and no visitors with respiratory symptoms (cough, shortness of breath, nasal congestion, fever, sore throat, etc.).

Parkland Manor Apartments, an assisted living facility, is not allowing overnight visitors until further notice, as well as asking anyone showing signs of sickness to not visit. While BeeHive Homes of Leitchfield is no longer allowing any visitors, except for family members visiting someone in an end-of-life scenario.

As previously reported by K105.com, both nursing homes in Grayson County, Grayson Nursing and Rehabilitation and Spring View Nursing & Rehab, are not allowing visitors, as well, except in the case of family members visiting a patient in an end-of-life scenarios.
