How appropriate that on Maundy Thursday, a Christian holy day falling on the Thursday before Easter, Grayson County received a powerful message from Angela Dennison.
Angela Dennison is Darren Dennison’s wife. Darren was diagnosed with COVID-19 on March 31, the day after he was placed on a ventilator in the intensive care unit at Bowling Green hospital. He was hospitalized on Friday, March 27, after not feeling well since earlier in the week.
Darren, of course, is the award-winning Supervisor of the Leitchfield Water Plant and longtime friend of Grayson County Judge-Executive Kevin Henderson, who, yesterday, asked that everyone remember Darren in their prayers, saying, “He’s a friend of mine, a really close family friend and he has COVID-19 … everyone please remember him in your thoughts and prayers”
Then, only hours later, Angela, likely with hands trembling with excitement, wrote on her Facebook page that …
“God has moved a mountain!!!!
Darren is off the vent!!! He is awake and doing well!!
I wish you could hear the rejoicing and thanking God!!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!! I owe God and all of you so much ❤️❤️
We got to video talk with him and it was wonderful!!”
