The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a Grayson County man missing since Sunday, May 24.
The sheriff’s office said 42-year-old Benjamin Vern Mayfield was “last known to be in the Evansville, Indiana area” Sunday night at approximately 6:00. At that time, he was supposed to drive back to Grayson County but has not been seen since.
Police said his cellphone goes straight to voicemail.
Mayfield stands 6-feet-3 and weighs 195 pounds. He has a cross tattoo on his right shoulder, and a barbed wire tattoo on his right bicep. He was driving a black 2013 Nissan Rogue with an Indiana registration plate.
The sheriff’s office said its not clear what type of clothing Mayfield was wearing.
