Leitchfield woman arrested after passing out at stop light

A Leitchfield woman has been arrested after passing out at a stop light on North Main Street in Leitchfield.

Friday morning at approximately 3:00, Leitchfield PD Officers Chance Anthony and DJ Newton, along with Sgt. Keith Harrell responded to the intersection of North Main and East Walnut Street after a motorist told Grayson County Central Dispatch that a red truck sat through three green lights at the intersection.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers found that 56-year-old Debra Decker had passed out at the wheel of a GMC Sierra truck after ingesting drugs. She was given a field sobriety test and arrested and charged with DUI (excludes alcohol).

Decker was lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.

Grayson County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Zane Greer assisted at the scene.
