KY Dept. for Public Health: Spring View Nursing & Rehab down to two active COVID cases, both staff members

On Monday morning, K105 reported that Spring View Nursing & Rehabilitation had five active cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) among its residents (4) and staff members (1), according to the Kentucky Department for Public Health (KDPH).

Late Monday afternoon, according to the KDPH, the long-term care facility had zero active cases among its residents, and two active cases among staff members.

The facility has now had 42 coronavirus cases diagnosed since the onset of the pandemic: 28 residents and 14 staff members, the KDPH reports. Two residents have perished from the virus.

Grayson Nursing & Rehabilitation has had 63 COVID-19 cases arise from the facility: 47 residents and 16 staff members. Eight residents have died from the virus.

The last coronavirus update provided by the Grayson County Health Department on Thursday, September 24, showed the county with 412 total cases of the virus, with 32 “active” cases.

Due to a lapse in reporting, the KDPH shows the county with 400 total cases.
