A Park City man has been arrested on drug charges in Edmonson County.

On Saturday night, the Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office spotted a vehicle leaving the Brownsville Minit Mart, just off Hwy 259 in front of Edmonson County High School. The vehicle then suddenly pulled into a driveway and after a few minutes, left the driveway before pulling into another driveway with the vehicle’s lights being turned off, according to media reports.

Police executed a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, 47-year-old Christopher R. Decker. Police, through an investigation, determined Decker did not know anyone at either residence.

During a search of the vehicle, the deputy located pills suspected to be Oxycodone.

Decker was arrested and lodged in the Hart County Jail where’s been charged with possession of controlled substance (opiates) and prescription controlled substance not in its proper container.
